Corrupting The World... One Tweet At A Time

So I have been doing a lot of Social Networking trying to sink my brain into it to see what all the hype is about. I have been on Facebook and Twitter and realized that it's actually pretty fun. I am having a blast reading other peoples Tweets and learning a lot about the world, trending topics and how Social Networking can actually impact your business.

My thoughts are fairly simple. It's not all about annoying people with sales and shoving commercials in the form of 140 characters or less into their face all day. I think it's about people who like what you have to say as a person. They are interested in you because you are a human that doesn't bore them and spam their inbox with junk they could care less about.

And at the end of the day, if they happen to need your company for something, they are going to remember you and possibly your company logo and think "Hey! I know someone who can help me out!"

It's about being memorable, liked and followed by people who respect what you have to say and by people who actually know you on a social level. I may be a nut case, but I realized that I am a "followed" nut case and that's pretty cool. I am not sure why when deep down I know I am corrupting the world with my brain waves. Corrupting the world is fun.
