Colorado Supreme Court, Court of Appeals move into temporary digs while new justice center under construction

By Felisa Cardona The Denver Post

The Supreme Court and the Colorado Court of Appeals are now in session after moving a few blocks to The Denver Post building over the weekend and Monday.
The courts' move began Friday from 2 E. 14th Avenue as work begins on the Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Complex.

The move was completed without any problems, and the courts are open for business, said Rob McCallum, spokesman for the Colorado Judicial Branch.

"Over the course of the weekend, we got everything on the eighth floor, and people are still unpacking today," he said. "Everything was very smooth, and there were a lot of smiles from the judges, and they will be taking the bench in short order."

The courtroom is on the ground floor of The Post building at 101 W. Colfax Ave. and seats 35 people. The secured entrance is off Broadway near Cheyenne Place.

The Supreme Court library also is located on the ground floor, and the public can enter through the main lobby.

Clerks' offices are on the eighth floor of the building.
The Colorado Court of Appeals is set to hear oral arguments on April 27.

McCallum said the new courtroom may only seat 35 people but if there is a case in which a larger crowd is anticipated, court staff may decide to hold the session in a room at the Colorado State Capitol.

The judges and justices will hear cases in the building until the new judicial complex opens in 2013.

Dear Property Management

Dear Property Management,

We handle moves going all over the world and can offer your customers discounts on Moving if they are referred by you. This is how it works. If you have a local move within the Colorado area and you have completed a local moving contract then all of your customers would pay a reduced rate on all local moving costs associated within the Colorado area.

If you have an out of state move and you have a contract in place with United Van Lines or Mayflower Van Lines, then all of your referrals can also get an extended discount on their moves simply by being referred to us by you! Once you are set up with our company on a local or a national level (or both), then the discounts would automatically apply to your referrals.

Separate national contracts are based on moving household good items, special products and electronics. We also do recycling and can offer your customers disposal of unwanted items like CPU's, monitors, file cabinets, desks, etc...

These contracts are built individually to your business and your client’s needs based on what your specific customers want and the types of product that they are moving. Once a national account contract is built, we can offer full coverage to your customers at no additional cost. This will save your customers hundreds of dollars on their move just because they know you!

If you would like more information on how we personalize and build your national account to serve the needs of your clients, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your time and I look forward to doing business with you!
