Packing Tips and Advice

Packing your kitchen can be the hardest room in the house. One of the key factors in making your job easier is to hire a professional. We have specialized packing paper to wrap your glass items and valuables in as well as bubble wrap and various other packing materials to protect your items when you move. Packing your cartons tight protects your dishes and ensures that they will arrive at your destination all in one piece. If you have to pack your items yourself, then here are some tips and hints that will help you along the way. Of course, you can always feel to ask us for tips and advice.

-Use Dish Cartons – These special cartons are double cardboard and will protect your glassware.

-Use Packing Paper – Most common mistakes are when people do not use enough paper.

-Tape The Corners – Most people forget to tape the corners of the cartons. This makes them stronger.

-Wrap Each Piece Individually – It’s easy to get in a hurry and try to wrap items together. This is never recommended.

-Knives and Silverware – Stow these inside your plastic ware. This prevents knives, forks, etc.. from stabbing through the cartons and causing potential injury.
